Work location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid, 3 days in a week)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a talented Node.js Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs. You will collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend applications using Node.js.

· Design and implement RESTful APIs and, where applicable, GraphQL services.

· Build integrations with databases, third-party services, and external APIs.

· Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

· Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

· Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.

· Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

· Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

· Work with DevOps teams to support deployment, monitoring, and continuous integration processes.

· Contribute to technical planning, architecture decisions, and documentation.

· Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

· Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

· Hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify.

· Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

· Proficiency with relational or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

· Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and performance optimization.

· Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.

· Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai.

· Knowledge of software development life cycles, debugging, and code quality standards.

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
